Cancellation Policy

Last updated: January 25, 2026

At Trip Culture, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and procedures for cancelling bookings made through our platform. We encourage you to review this policy carefully before confirming your reservations.

Important: Cancellation terms vary by service type and provider. Always check the specific cancellation policy for your booking before confirming your reservation.

1. General Cancellation Terms

All cancellations must be made through your Trip Culture account or by contacting our customer support team. Cancellations made directly with service providers may not be honored and could result in full charges.

Cancellation requests are processed based on the date and time they are received by Trip Culture, not when you initiated the request. We recommend cancelling as early as possible to maximize potential refunds.

You will receive a cancellation confirmation email once your request is processed. Please retain this for your records.

Cancellations due to medical emergencies may qualify for special consideration. Submit a valid medical certificate from a registered doctor within 48 hours of cancellation.

We recommend travel insurance to cover medical-related cancellations

🌪️ Natural Disasters & Force Majeure

In case of natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events affecting your destination, we will work with service providers to offer:

  • • Full refund with no cancellation charges
  • • Free rescheduling to alternative dates
  • • Trip Culture credits with bonus value

⚠️ Trip Culture Initiated Cancellations

If we cancel your booking due to insufficient participants, service provider issues, or operational reasons, you will receive a full refund with no deductions, plus a 10% credit voucher for future bookings.

👥 Group Booking Cancellations

For group bookings (5+ people), special terms apply. Individual cancellations from a group may affect the overall group rate. Contact our team for assistance with group cancellations.

5. Modification vs Cancellation

Before cancelling, consider modifying your booking instead. Changes are often more cost-effective than full cancellations:

✓ Modifications

  • • Change travel dates
  • • Modify passenger names
  • • Upgrade/downgrade services
  • • Lower fees than cancellation

✗ Full Cancellation

  • • Higher charges apply
  • • Longer refund processing
  • • Lose promotional pricing
  • • Subject to availability

6. No-Show Policy

Important: If you fail to show up for your booking without prior cancellation, it will be treated as a no-show and you will be charged the full booking amount with no refund.

Even if you're unable to use the service, please cancel formally through our platform to potentially receive partial refunds or credits based on the cancellation timeline.

7. Important Reminders

Time Matters

Cancellation charges increase as you get closer to your travel date. Cancel early to minimize charges.
